Born and raised in the small town of Huntsville, Ontario, Alexis Taylor is a country singer-songwriter known for her heartfelt storytelling, powerhouse vocals, and authentic connection with audiences. Growing up in a musical family, she discovered her passion for songwriting and acoustic guitar at an early age.

"Both my parents are songwriters and have always been very musical. Music has always been a part of me—it’s in my blood."

After making her first trip to Nashville, Tennessee, Alexis knew she had found where she belonged and made the move to Music City to pursue her career.

Her international journey began in 2016 with a Scandinavian tour opening for acclaimed singer-songwriter Doug Seegers.

"Being able to open for someone as talented and genuine as Doug Seegers was the experience of a lifetime. The opportunity challenged me as a performer, and I'll always be grateful that Doug took me under his wing."

Since releasing her debut single in 2018, Alexis has performed at Canadian Music Week in Toronto, CMA Fest in Nashville, and shared the stage with artists including the Marshall Tucker Band, Love and Theft, and Meghan Patrick. She was named Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2018 Tennessee Music Awards and received nominations for Modern Country Vocalist of the Year at the 2020 and 2021 Josie Music Awards.

In 2021, Alexis released her debut album, Ain't No Quittin' You, produced by John Willis. The project featured songs that reached #15 on SiriusXM Canada's country chart.

In 2023, Alexis teamed up with Grammy Award-winning producer, DJ, and songwriter Dave Audé to release Room Service. Co-written and produced by Audé, the single blended contemporary country with pop influences and marked another exciting milestone in her career.

She continued that momentum with the release of Seeing Ghosts in 2024, showcasing a more vulnerable and mature side of her songwriting.

Today, Alexis continues to perform throughout North America while writing and recording new music. With a busy 2026 schedule of live performances across Ontario and beyond, she remains dedicated to connecting with audiences through authentic country music and compelling storytelling, with more new music on the horizon.
