Apology To Fans

Without getting into too much detail.. I am sad to announce that I will be canceling and rescheduling my show at the Algonquin Theatre that was supposed to take place tonight in Huntsville, Ontario, due to health reasons. If you've been following me on social media at all, you will have seen that I came back home to Canada suddenly in the middle of CMA Fest in Nashville. But what many of you do not know is that the reason behind my travels had to do with the fact that I have been very sick for the past three weeks now. I have been in and out of the hospital, as well as the doctors office getting lots of tests done to try to figure out the underlying cause. Upon getting my test results back yesterday, the cause of my declining health has finally been determined but will not be a quick fix. Therefore, I have decided to postpone my show until a later date.

The show is already rescheduled for August 24th at 8pm. I apologize to everyone for the inconvenience, however the last thing that I want to do is put on a show where I do not feel 100%.  I know you all work so hard for your money and the last thing that I want to do is only put half of my heart into a performance.  So I hope everyone who got tickets will be understanding as to why I had to reschedule my show,  and forgive me for having to do so.

My First Blog!!

I've wanted to start blogging for a while now, so I can connect with the many people that I don't get to talk to everyday. I feel like lately I have been traveling so much and have been so busy with music that I don't get the opportunity to share my adventures with everyone. So what better way to do that then by blogging!

I arrived in Canada the other day after an amazing CMA Fest week in Nashville. It was definitely a long day of traveling, but I managed to get quite a bit of sleep on the plane (totally unlike me). When I got off the plane, part of me was in shock when it wasn't 100 degrees out.. but it's been nice to have a little bit of what would be considered cooler weather after the scorching Tennessee heat. I stopped in today at Hunters Bay Radio here in Huntsville, Ontario where I grew up, and was able to make some pretty exciting arrangements to promote my upcoming show at the Algonquin Theatre. As I was leaving, they were sweet enough to play "Blame The Whiskey" on air! It still kinda feels surreal to hear my own music played on the radio station. I feel like someone should pinch me and wake me up from this dream. After all the hard work that I've put into "Blame The Whiskey" and the countless other songs that are in the process of being recorded, it's crazy to think that people are finally getting to hear them. Coming home always makes me grateful for everyone who has supported me from the beginning - before Nashville, before the touring, before the radio play. I am definitely blessed to be where I am today, and am really looking forward to playing in my hometown at the Algonquin Theatre next weekend!!
